The gameplay in Alone in the Dark: The Last Stand is based on the same mechanics and processes as in the previous games in the series. You will once again explore multiple locations, solve puzzles, fight enemies that attack you, complete quests and more. 

The main advantage of the game is still the atmosphere, which is based on creepy scenes, blood, gloomy dark locations, zombies and mutants, horrible things happening around the main character, and not only. And every time you will get used to one thing, something new and frightening will happen.

As for the puzzles and riddles, they are based primarily on the physical interaction of the protagonist with the surrounding world. For example, there is a place where you have to pass through corridors with water, from which bare wires stick out - you have to explore the surroundings, find the switch and the way to get to it, and then turn off the electricity. And there are a lot of such puzzles.
