The game tells the story of a man named Henry Nelson, with whom something has happened. He has been living for a long time with his wife and daughter in a town called CENTRALIA. The coal was mined in this town and the deposits were so great that a small coal-mining settlement soon developed into a thriving city. But the authorities were so greedy, and dug so deep, that they eventually got to something terrible. Eventually the miners went crazy from what they saw underground and triggered a fire, there was an accident and many people died. Henry and his daughter survived and moved to another town, but one morning he found a note on his daughter's bed, in which his daughter said that she went to the same town to find her mother and her spirit. Well, the players are now invited to go there with Henry following his daughter. 

Gameplay in CENTRALIA is fairly simple and based on mechanics used in almost all quests. Here you will have to go to a dead city and search for a missing girl. Along the way you will solve various puzzles, solve riddles, learn more and more about the fatal accident that took the life of the protagonist's wife, and survive.

The gameplay is simple. All you have to do is pay attention and think logically. You will find different objects and interact with them, solve physical problems, run away from dogs and not only that, and carefully examine the surroundings. Nothing more, but the game is literally mesmerizing.
