Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne is a third-person shooter that continues the story of the legendary Max Payne, who was unjustly accused of killing his own partner

The story tells the events that take place several years after the events of the first part. Max, as promised by the senator, is released and in a few years he returns to duty as a regular detective. But suddenly something happens that he never expected - he meets an assassin he long thought was dead. That's where it all starts to get interesting. 

The gameplay in Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne is not very different from the original second part. Graphics also remains the same. But at the same time, the game was replenished with a huge number of new textures, weapons, and not only. In general the gameplay remains the same and is still primarily based on numerous firefights with enemies, which, by the way, have now become much smarter and more dangerous.

You will have at your disposal a wide arsenal of weapons, including pistols, machine guns. Shotguns, sniper rifles, grenades, submachine guns, and even Molotov cocktails. You'll also have the chance to grab two pistols and start shooting Macedonian-style. And, of course, there is the delayed-jump mechanic, thanks to which you can jump between shelters and fire at the enemy in flight. The only thing that has changed is the control mechanics. For example, now you do not need to specifically select a grenade to use it, you just need to press the assigned button. 

Otherwise, it's the same third-person shooter with plenty of action, bloody firefights, a wide variety of weapons, and an excellent storyline.
