Well, first of all I want to tell you that unlike the previous games of the series, in this one the developers paid special attention to the social aspect of cities. Now you will have to follow the spiritual development of the city, dozens of new characteristics, the inhabitants themselves, and do everything to ensure that the city has a decent atmosphere. And don't think it will be easy - you will have different problems every now and then. The crime rate will greatly increase, the spirituality will begin to fall, and even the creative potential of the city's inhabitants will wither away. You need to make it so that this does not happen. 

But of course, as in previous games of the series, here, too, have to do and construction. You will have a wide open space where you will be able to construct different buildings. Residential buildings, skyscrapers, wealthy residential areas, commercial buildings, industrial sectors and factories, power plants and landfills, and much, much more are all at your disposal in SimCity: Societies, as long as you have enough resources.

You will have to keep an eye on the economy of the city. For example, you will need to make sure that in the treasury of the city will always be money. You will also have to deal with trade, production of various goods, and many-many other things. Of course, you will have to devote quite a lot of time to this, but still. 

In addition to all of this, you will be able to keep track of your citizens, make sure that everything suits everybody, build different cultural institutions, provide education and much more.
