In the story you will again play the role of a special agent, a sniper named Carl Fairburn, who has turned the course of history and supported the allied forces in the fight against the Nazis. But now the losing Third Reich has resorted to new tricks - the Nazis have learned to resurrect the dead, and now they themselves have suffered from them. Berlin is gripped by an epidemic, the dead walk the streets of the city and kill the living, and you are humanity's only and last hope. You have to get out of Berlin, find the source of the "contagion" and try to stop a war that has gone to the next level..

As for the gameplay, it compared to the other games in the series has changed in the extreme.
